David Leber
Every uAdvance course is designed and taught by David Leber, a qualified actuary and data practitioner with over a decade in financial services.
David is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (FIAA) and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA). His career spans superannuation, life insurance and investment consulting, covering data and analytics leadership, pricing strategy and regulatory reporting. He currently leads a business intelligence function at one of Australia's largest superannuation funds, working daily with the same tools he teaches.
He lectures in data science at Monash University, where he is Chief Examiner of Data Science Principles and teaches machine learning to actuarial students. His teaching has earned a Dean's commendation and a top band student evaluation score.
